

Courtney “Megan” Hailey, 20, of Timpson, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2010, in Webster, Texas. A funeral service for Megan will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at 2:00 P.M. at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel in Nacogdoches, Texas with Bro. Garrel Faulkner officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Timpson, Texas.
Megan was born January 18, 1990 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Lindy C. and Kailie M. Hailey. Megan was a cherished daughter born between two brothers. She was the typical level-headed one of the three, and often mothered her beloved brothers. She loved to bake and knit, mostly for others. She was a homemaker at heart. She made the most important decision of her life when she was nine years old. She chose to be a witness and spokesman for Christ and she had the privilege to lead others to Christ as well.
Megan was preceded in death by her great-grandparents: James A. Ramsey, Mike Box and W.J. and Rachel Samford, all of Timpson, Texas.
Megan is survived by her parents: Lindy and Kailie Hailey; brothers: Brad and wife Ariel Hailey ,and Lane Hailey; sister: Linzhi Paige Hailey and Megan’s fiancé Joey Clinton; grandparents: J.W. and Jacqueline Samford, Bill and Louise Rhodes; great-grandmothers: Jackie Ramsey and Dorlene Box; aunts and their families: Jenny and Clint Ramsey and their 6 children and 1 grandchild; Kristi and Scott Hall and their 3 children; Jessica and David Billott and their 2 children; Margaret and Rick Napier and their 3 children; Kerri and Josh Martin and their 3 children; uncles: Samuel and Jackson Samford.
Pallbearers will be Clint Ramsey, Colton Ramsey, David Billiott, Josh Martin, B.J. Patterson and Gary Atkison.
Friends are invited to a visitation at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches on Monday, December 6, 2010 from 5 – 7 P.M.
