Born December 30, 1946, Mr. Thomas had been a lifelong resident of Nacogdoches. He and his family participated with the First United Methodist Church of Nacogdoches.
His brother, Les Thomas of Nacogdoches, survives him, along with a number of cousins.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, C.D. Thomas, on Nov. 11, 2015, and his mother, Monette Campbell Thomas, on March 10, 2015.
Services are set for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at Cason Monk-Metcalf's Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, located at 5127 North Street in Nacogdoches. Rev. Trent Oliver will be officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at the chapel
