

He was born Sept. 6, 1952, in Nacogodoches, Texas. Linn became a millwright at an early age through experience and worked with International Paper, T.U. Electric, and Fluor Daniels. He later moved to Henryetta where he was the owner and manager of The Oil Pit for 15 years.
He was a father, loved his son and daughters and the “Home Place” in Nacogdoches as well as spending time with his family and friends. Linn was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer, and was very competitive. He dearly loved annual hunting trips to the Rocky Mountains with his brothers and cousin. He was outgoing, loved life, loved people, and rarely met a stranger. Linn would not hesitate to help people in need.
He is survived by his son, Shane Rodgers and wife Hannah of Lufkin, Texas; daughters, Lauren Rodgers, Erika Rodgers, and Fallon Rodgers, all of Henryetta; brothers, William Loy Rodgers and wife Patty of Conroe, Texas, and Leven Rodgers and wife Leslie of Sachse, Texas; grandchildren, Samuel Rodgers, Faith Rodgers, and Ruby Rodgers, all of Lufkin; first cousins, Sue Dichard, Tuffy Molandes, Mary Jo Molandes, James Mora, Roger Mora, Clifford Mora, Sissy Butts, and Phllip Mora; and host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Drew Wall and Mary Josephine Wall.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel in Nacogdoches with Bro. Tommy Self officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain Cemetery in Nacogdoches County.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 11, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Pallbearers: Blake Basham, Andy Beall, Jerry Beall, Bradley Dichard, Aaron Rodgers, and Darren Rodgers. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Holdt, James Mora, Roger Mora, Clifford Mora, and Tuffy Molandes.
