Elizabeth was born on September 17, 1967, in Seattle, Washington. She grew up in Burlington, Washington; however she moved to Nacogdoches in 1982 and went to Nacogdoches High School for one year. Her family relocated to Winnie, Texas, in 1983 and she graduated from East Chambers High School in 1985.
She met her husband, Anthony, on a blind date during 1998 and they married the following year on September 25, 1999. They were blessed with beautiful daughters in 2000, 2001, and 2003. They re-located their family from Kountze, Texas, to Nacogdoches in July 2004 and in 2005, they co-founded Castilaw Environmental Services, LLC, where she served as Vice-President until her death. They later co-founded Castilaw Properties, LLC in 2010 and she also served as Vice-President of that company as well.
Elizabeth will be remembered by her many friends and family members for her beautiful smile, selfless attitude, servants heart, never give up attitude, and her “occasional” stubborn streak. She cherished spending as much time as possible with her daughters, relaxing at the family farm, weekend family getaways to the mountains in Arkansas, and annual summer vacations to Montana.
