Neil was a lifelong Methodist. He married the love of his life, Patricia on 0June 1, 1957 at Lakewood United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas. Neil received a degree in Electrical Engineering from Arlington State College, now the University of Texas at Arlington. He served 8 years in the United States Air Force Reserves. Neil was a supervisor of overhead staff and outages for Dallas Power and Light which is now Oncor; he retired in 1992.
He was the VP of the Lewisville, Texas Saddle Club. Neil enjoyed coin collecting, deer, dove and duck hunting, camping in Colorado, photography and flying. He was a big Dallas Cowboys and Texas Ranger fan and enjoyed snow skiing, playing poker and going to casino’s.
Survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Cochran; son, Mark Craig Cochran and wife Rosi of Nacogdoches; daughter, Lee Anne Koiner and husband Bill of Krum, Texas; grandchildren, Kaycee Koiner of Belton, Texas, Timmy Cochran, Aubrey Cochran, Easton Cochran all of Nacogdoches.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Joe and Kirk Cochran.
Services will be held at graveside December 17 , 2022.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Neil’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society.
