Gail "Granny" Wanda McFadden of Nacogdoches passed away February 29, 2020, at home, peacefully with her family at the age of 79. She was born January 2, 1941, in Nacogdoches to parents Edgar Franklin Rector and Rosa Lee (Evans) Rector.
We all have peace in knowing she is with Daddy. Her passion in life was her yard and flowerbeds...she just loved being there and working. She could make anything grow and bloom. Granny was always looking for that one flower that may be different.

She is survived by her children, Clayton McFadden and wife Pam, Tammy McFadden, Barry McFadden and wife Betty, and Carri (Susie) Scott and husband Robert; granddaughter, Rachel Raines and husband Andy; great-grandsons, Reese Rains and Caiden Corman; brother, Craig Rector and wife Gearldean; and best friend, Bonita Burden.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2020, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Home, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches.
