George Lowery IV

George was born September 03, 1972 in Nacogdoches, Texas to George Lowery III and Linda Murray Lowery, and died Saturday,

May 30 in a local hospital.

George was a lifelong resident of Nacogdoches County and was a Baptist. His greatest passions in life were his family and friends, reading, cooking, and, most of all, gardening. Professionally he was a hairdresser employed with Special FX in Nacogdoches.

Beside his parents, he is survived by brother Jason, Aunts Carolyn ( Wallace) Gartman, Patricia ( Charles) Kelley and Gaynell Brown, several cousins and his very best friends, Brad Pollard and Lara Bounds. He was predeceased by his grandparents, George and Geneva Lowery and Herman and Mabel Murray and Uncle Eugene Brown.

Funeral services for George Lowery IV, 42, of Etoile will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 10 a.m. In the Cason-Monk Sunset Chapel with Bro. Glen Morton and Rev. Kyle Childress officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Springs Cemetery located on FM 226 South in Etoile, Texas. Visitation will be Monday, June 1 from 5-7.

Pallbearers will be Chad Gartman, Wade Gartman, Charles Kelley, Jr., Matthew Kelley, Brett Grider, and Brian Matzke.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Blue Springs Cemetery.
