

Services for Glenda Griffith Faulkner Moore will be held at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, Texas, at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2014, at Cason Monk-Metcalf.
Glenda was born on January 11, 1946, and died on Saturday, May, 10, 2014, in Nacogdoches Medical Center Hospital.
Glenda worked for Nacogdoches Medical Center Hospital for 28 years and she loved her job and the people she worked with. She was known for putting the needs of others above her own. In recent months she especially loved spending time with her companion, Carl “Cowboy” Haltom and her family.
Glenda is preceded in death by her husband, C.E. “Charlie” Faulkner; mother, Tennie Griffith; and her sister, Mary Lou Griffith.
Glenda is survived by her father, James W. Griffith and wife Gaynell; two daughters, Michelle “Missy” Robinson and husband Eric of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Stacy Gamblin and husband James of Bowie, Texas; her sister, Jamie Fain and husband Ferris, her brothers, Mike Griffith and wife Reba, Gregg Griffith and wife Christine, all of Nacogdoches, and Mark Griffith and wife Becky of Burleson, Texas; grandchildren, Macie Holloway of Hubbard, Ohio, Elizabeth “Liz” Brittain of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Lucas Brittain of Owasso, Oklahoma, Jordan Pigg, Taylor Pigg, Abbi Gamblin, and Cooper Gamblin, all of Bowie, Texas; and one great-grandchild, Gordon Childress of Fayetteville, Arkansas. She leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mike Griffith, Mark Griffith, Eric Robinson, Lucas Brittain, Ferris Fain, and James Gamblin. Honorary pallbearers will be Gregg Griffith and Carl “Cowboy” Haltom. Rev. Lee McDowell of Harvest Point Baptist Church will be officiating. A private service will be held at Moore Cemetery in Nacogdoches.
