Mrs. McFate was a graduate from Nederland High School. She spent her career serving her community as a registered nurse. She enjoyed sewing and knitting.
Dale was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Donald "Don" McFate; sister, Linda Iris Pistole; and nieces, Audrey Stone and Sara Stone.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 26, 2026, at Alazan Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.
