Helen Marie Stone

Miss Stone was born Oct. 10, 1941, in Douglass as a daughter of the late Aaron Thomas Stone and Dorothy Marie (Parrish) Stone. Marie was a graduate of Douglass High School and member of Eden Community Baptist Church.

She is survived by her aunts, Thelma Joyce Jackson and husband Doyle of Douglass, Texas, and Nellie Loftin Cooper of Huntington, Texas; and a host of cousins, friends, and neighbors.

Funeral services have been set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North Street, Nacogdoches, Texas, with Bro. Jack Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Eden Cemetery on FM 225.

Visitation will be held Monday, Feb. 21, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf.

Pallbearers: C.W. Loftin, Earl Loftin, Robert Loftin, Billy Shuffield, Wayne Brown, and Jimmy Tennison.
