Herbert Taylor Burnaman, 84, went to meet his Lord and Savior on August 25, 2011, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters in Garland, Texas. He was born on May 9, 1927, in Etoile, Texas to parents Alma and E.H. Burnaman. A funeral service will be on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors. Interment will be at Blue Springs Cemetery in Etoile, Texas.
Hebert was married to and survived by his wife of 63 years Odessa Whitehead Burnaman. They made their home in Garland, Texas for 57 years. Other survivors include his three daughters, Patsy Bowden and husband Jim of Farmersville, Texas, Peggy Thomas of Farmersville, Texas, Michelle Wilson and husband Charles of Garland, Texas; 2 sisters; 4 grandchildren; 11 great grand children; and 1 great great grandchild. Hebert is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
