It's hard to believe that Lil"Joe is gone. As we were growing up, I can remember so well of being thrown up in the air by him and thinking that I would be able to touch a cloud because he was so tall, his beautiful brown eyes and him always calling Barbara "Hon". Barbara, our thoughts and love go to you and your boys.

To the Family of Bro Cannon, Bro Cannon was a great and wonderful man who gave without the thought of self, in his service to God and to the Kingdom of God. The many years of service of Bro & Sis Cannon to the Florida District are possibly under-appreciated, but God knew and will reward.

Can't believe Joe is gone, I remember being thrown up in the air by 'lil joe' when I was a little girl at grandmothers and thinking he was the tallest man I ever seen. He has a beautiful family and has had a wonderful life I know Granddaddy would have been proud of him and his accomplishments. We loved him.

Good night my precious "daddy" in the Lord !! Because of your love for Jesus and people, my life was forever changed on January 22, 1976. You taught me many good things and even chastised me at times as a loving father does. I will be forever thankful that I knew your example of kindness, gentleness and strength, what it meant to be faithful and steadfast !! You have earned your sweet rest !!!

There is an empty place in my heart without Dad Cannon. He and Mom Cannon opened their home and hearts to me and continued to do so long after our lives took different paths. I will be forever grateful for their love and for the influence they had on my life. He was a gentle giant and a mighty warrior for Christ. What a celebration there must have been in Heaven when he entered those gates. As the song says, "Look for me for I will be there too." Until we meet again! To Mom and the rest of the family, love you all and will be keeping all of you in my prayers!
