

She was born July 3, 2012, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to parents Randal and Kara Cooper.
Kate loved life. She loved to play with her sisters and be with her family and friends. One of her favorite things to do was sit in her Papa’s lap. Kate enjoyed riding horses, blowing kisses, and being read to. Some of her favorite books were “Cook-a-doodle,” “Little Penguin has the Hiccups,” and “All Because a Little Bug Went Kachoo.” Kate had a beautiful smile and infectious laugh. She was full of life and spread sunshine wherever she went.
Kate is survived by her parents, Randal and Kara Cooper; sisters, Hannah Cooper and Emily Cooper; paternal grandparents, Pete and Linda Cooper; maternal grandparents, Bruce and Tammy Oliver; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Sand Flat Cemetery in Angelina County. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Fredonia Hill Baptist Church in Nacogdoches with Pastor Pat Kelly and Bro. Kendall McDonald officiating. A reception will follow the memorial service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made in Kate’s name to Fredonia Hill Joy Ministries, 1711 South Street, Nacogdoches, Texas 75964.
