Kenneth Wayne Harris

Kenneth Wayne Harris, of Conroe, Texas, passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on January 23, 1963, Kenneth was known for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and deep appreciation for life’s simple joys.

Kenneth’s passions included fishing, stargazing, traveling, and collecting coins. He loved exploring new places, whether near or far, and found great joy in quiet nights under the stars or casting a line into a peaceful lake. Above all, he valued time spent with family and friends, always eager to make new memories that would last a lifetime.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his loving parents, Teddy Virginia (Sanders) and Arthur Ray Harris; his brother, Ray Harris; and his niece, Dora Hughes.

He is survived by his sisters, Deborah Hughes and Kori Bray; his brother, Ricky Pierce; his nieces, Starla Hughes and Laura Grill; and his nephew, Chris Dickerson. Kenneth cherished his family and shared a close bond with each of them.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and chaplain from Heart to Heart Hospice for the compassion and care shown to Kenneth in his final days. Their kindness brought great comfort during a difficult time.

Kenneth will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered for his warmth, his curiosity about the world, and the joy he brought to those who knew him.

A graveside service will be held in his honor at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Lower Chireno Cemetery.
