Lela Mae Davis

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Park at 10:00 am.by Dwain Forsythe. Lela is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of 50 years.

She is survived by her son, Lyn Davis of Nacogdoches, Texas; daughter, Gayla Vardeman and husband Don of Nacogdoches; daughter-in-law, Karen Davis of Keller, Tx; grandchildren, Jennifer Vansau and husband Rocky of Hudson, Tx, Christopher Davis and wife Jill of Lewisville, Tx, Doug Vardeman of Nacogdoches; great grandchildren, Hallie Vansau, Rylie Vansau; sister, Faye Johnson of Nacogdoches, Tx, niece, Melissa Musser and husband Jim of College Station; nephew, Randy Johnson and wife Brenda of Nacogdoches; special caregivers, Rhonda Pruitt, Rosie Pruitt and Evelyn Jones and a host of friends.

Lela Mae was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who loved Jesus. Her life was centered around her devotions to her family and they experienced her love deeply. She will be missed on this earth and welcomed in heaven.

There will be a private family visitation. Memorial contributions may be offered to University Baptist Church, 2505 North Street Nacogdoches, 75965.

Pallbearers will be Don Vardeman, Doug Vardeman, Ben Clifton, Christopher Davis, Randy Johnson, and Jim Musser.
