Librado Sosa

Librado made his home in Nacogdoches, Texas, where he worked for many years at BMS. Known as a hardworking and dedicated man, he took great pride in providing for his family. Although he had been disabled for some time, his strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, and devotion to his family never wavered.

In his free time, Librado loved caring for his animals, which brought him comfort and joy. A man of deep faith, he was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where he also served as a deacon at one time. His faith guided his life and was evident in his service to others and his commitment to his family and community.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria de Jesus Sosa; his daughters, Rose Dalia Sosa and husband Oliverio Ramos Lopez, Leslie Lynn Sosa and husband Osvaldo Torres, and Cindy Janet Sosa and husband Javier Avila; and his cherished grandchildren: Oliverio Ramos, Eduardo Ramos, Liliana Ramos, Romeo Ramos, Librado Ramos, Nevaeh Sowell, Librado Sowell, Esteban Santiago, Richard Santiago, Javier Avila III, and Donte Avila.

Librado was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Sosa Espinoza and Maria Guadalupe Sosa Cruz.

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, a faithful servant of God, and a man whose dedication, humility, and love for his family defined his life.

A funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located at 2508 Appleby Sand Rd, Nacogdoches, TX 75965, United States. The service is scheduled for January 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
