

She was born January 16, 1920, in Chireno, Texas, to parentsThomas S. Bright and Nellie Eberlan Bright.
Lovenner was married to Woodrow Watson on June 19, 1937. He preceded her in death on November 13, 1986.
Mrs. Watson was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
She is survived by her sister, Maudie L. Dial and husband James of San Antonio, Texas; son, Tommy L. Watson and wife Rita of Waldron, Arkansas; daughters, Nellie Sue Radford of Irving, Texas, Lynese Anderson and husband Bobbie of Henderson, Texas, Billie Merle Cochran and husband Ben of Kirbyville, Texas; son-in-law, Maurice Webb of Houston, Texas; and daughter-in-law, Irene Boehmer of Nacogdoches, Texas. She had 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were two children; one grandson; and five of her siblings.
Funeral services have been set for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches. Interment will follow with committal services at Macune Cemetery, located on County Road 316 off Hwy. 147 in San Augustine County.
Pastor Frank Jones of Second Baptist Church in Henderson, Texas, will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Anderson, Robert Anderson, Rodney Watson, Joshua Radford, Jeremy Culver, and Jerry Holcomb. Honorary pallbearers will be Armando Pegueros, William Tatum, and Norman McBride.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at Cason Monk-Metcalf.
