Lucille B Bowman Lunsford

Graveside service will be at Brookside Cemetery in Houston on Friday September 23, 2011, at 2:00 pm with Todd Muckleroy, of Family Faith Fellowship Church in Central Heights, Texas, officiating. There will be viewing from 1-2 pm prior to the graveside service.

Lucille was known for her gentle personality and hugs that could be felt. She expressed great love to her children and grandchildren and loved watching flowers bloom and grow. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her best.

Lucille is survived by her son, Tom Lunsford and wife Margaret; son-in law, Bill Sharp; grandsons, Troy Lunsford, Stephen Lunsford; grand-daughter, Christie Sharp McGuire; sister, Christine Bowman Hilbun; two great grand-children; numerous nieces and nephews; and special niece, Ruby Reynolds..

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Daniel; daughters, Dixie Myrl Lunsford, and Betty Jean Lunsford Sharp; sisters, Dorothy Erline Bowman, and Olga Reynolds.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 22, from 5-7 pm at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors at 5400 North Street, Nacogdoches, Texas. Memorial donations may be made to the Tony Franklin Foundation.Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Lunsford, Stephen Lunsford, Ron Reynolds, and Ellis Reynolds.
