I had the honor of having Lucy as my Mother-in-Law for more than 35 years. She was so accepting of me and welcomed me into the family. To visit Lucy & Jerry at their home was always a wonderful event, whether it was in the Dallas area or Nacogdoches. Our kids loved going to Nana & Papa's place! To get to know her family was also a pleasure that I will never forget. Lucy had such a deep love for beautiful things, whether it was a touching Country song or simply holding and loving her special dogs. They were truly part of the family. I had previously prayed for Lucy's healing and for her to return home. Perhaps God saw it as the time for her to return to her Heavenly home, where she would enjoy perfect health in the presence of God, for eternity. I love you, Lucy. I'll see you in the future. God Bless You. Rick Blasing

Lucy was the babysitter for our children, Meghan and Dylan, for over 10 years. She was much more than a wonderful caregiver. She and Jerry became surrogate grandparents, and were there for many of our children’s milestones and life events. Dylan was only 4 months old when “LULU” first came to “ work” for us. We will never forget the relief to know our children were in such good and loving care.
