Mrs. Lazarine was born Jan. 13, 1925, in Nacogdoches to parents Gus Victor Triana and Jane (Sepulveda) Triana. A lifelong Nacogdoches area resident, she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Margie was a loving mother and grandmother to her family. She loved to cook and was an outstanding caregiver to her family, friends, and neighbors. She retired from C.J. Martin, where she had worked for a number of years.
Her survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Jake and Julie Lazarine and Wayne and Deanna Lazarine, all of Nacogdoches; grandsons, Z.Z. Lazarine of Austin and Shane Lazarine of Nacogdoches; granddaughters, Krystyn Lazarine and Kaytlyn Lazarine, both of Nacogdoches; great-grandson, Raiden of Nacogdoches; brothers, Jimmy Triana of Houston and Ben Triana of Lufkin; sisters, Joey Wilkerson of Tyler and Annie "Chula" Wheeland of Rusk; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Jake” Lazarine, in 1974. Also preceded her in death were her parents and 10 siblings, Gus, Pauline, Josephine, Virginia, Alice, Teddy, Rita, Leon, Rosie, and Augusta.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel. Rosary will begin at 7 p.m.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, 5400 North Street, Nacogdoches. Interment follows at Sunset Memorial Park, 5127 North Street, Nacogdoches.
Pallbearers are Z.Z. Lazarine, Shane Lazarine, Bill Potts, Mike Triana, Gus Triana, and Mark Triana. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Triana and Ben Triana.
