Martha Lee Gilbreath

Born in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Thomas William Ramsey and Martha Lou Boozer Ramsey, Martha was a lifelong resident of the community she called home. She was a member of Old North Baptist Church in Nacogdoches, where her faith in Christ was a cherished part of her life.

Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The moments they shared will remain treasured memories, and her love will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, George Howard Gilbreath; and her son, William Andrew Gilbreath.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sheila Arender and Lisa Gilbreath Koonce; son-in-law, Stan Koonce; grandsons, John Arender, Logan Koonce and his wife, Morgan, and Landon Koonce; and great-grandchildren, Everlee and Lawson Koonce.

Her family finds comfort in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ and the hope of a joyful reunion in heaven. Martha’s life was a blessing, her love a lasting gift, and her memory will be held close for generations to come.
