How do you put into words what someone this special has meant to a life. I will forever remember the long, long talks we had, the words of wisdom, comfort and love that only a mother can give. I know she did not carry me in her womb, but she carried me in her heart. She loved me and I loved her from the moment God created our family and caused our paths to cross. She was a grandmother to my children. My children never had the privilege of meeting their "blood" grandmother, but that was okay to them, as Grandma in Texas was everything to them. She drew pictures, created stories and sent packages full of love and wonder to them. Then in the summer she always opened her heart and her home to them to come and visit for as long as they could. Mom, I had you longer than I Had my natural mother, and I find it hard to distinguish much between the two. I will forever miss you, and I will alwsys remember. Always. I love you and miss you terribly! I know you are resting in the arms of the Lord, where you can now see. You would not want to return to this world even if you could, so I look forward to seeing you on the golden shore. Rest now, Momma. Rest. Thank you for all you have done, for all your labor and all your love.

I remember Mary as a very fun loving ,caring mother. She was always there for her Christy. Mary met and fell in love with Carl and they were such a wonderful couple , always laughing, loving and caring. She was a special lady. Mary also made sure that all of Christy's friends felt welcomed and loved and cared for, as well. Mary (Mal) was a pleasure to meet and I am all the better for having known her.
My prayers are with you and your family. God bless all of you and stay strong until the lord calls for you.
With sincere sorrow & Love , Sheri

I was so shocked to learn of Mary's passing away. She was a very special part of our family as a caregiver and friend to my mom, Mabel Sessions and my aunt, Berenice Bohannon. I had spoken several times to Mary by phone after my mom's death and Berenice's going to the nursing home. She will be fondly remember by me and my family
