A resident of Nacogdoches, Nathan Edward Presley, born July 14, 1938, in Fort Sumner, New Mexico, the eldest son of Lois Vaughan Presley and Roger Presley, went to be with Jesus on July 13, 2016, one day short of his 78th birthday.
He leaves behind his wife of soon 48 years, Jo Hammond Presley; two surviving sons, Edward A. Presley (wife Michelle and six children) of Nacogdoches and Jonathan J. Presley (wife Anna) and Terry Presley (wife Elizabeth), all of Lewisville, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives who valued his wonderful gentle strength and peculiar sense of humor.
