Patsy Patterson Phillips Mims, 83, of Woden passed away peacefully in Nacogdoches, TX, Saturday evening, February 24, 2018. She was born to O.L. Patterson and Jewel Goodman Patterson on January 7, 1935, in Camp Worth, Texas, San Augustine County. Patsy was employed at Cason Monk Hardware for over 40 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed her flowers and family gatherings.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Teresa Phillips; daughter and son-in-law, Elesia and Jimmie Langston; step-children, Billy Mims and wife Tonya, and Sheila Cloudy; sister and brother-in-law, Robbie and Earl Shiflet; grandchildren, Trey Langston, Chase Phillips, Kyle Phillips, and Luke Langston; step-grandchildren, James Torbert, Carissa Todd, Billy Mac Mims, and Lindsey Mims; great-grandchild, Kylie Langston; step great-grandchildren, Brayden Torbert, Kameryn Todd, Oakley Mims, Kaiser Mims, Tucker Sanders, Slyder Sanders, Maysun Sanders, and Paisley Henderson.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husbands, Ellis “Buddy” Phillips and Billy Ray Mims; brother, Ellis Wayne Patterson; sisters, Eloise Smallwood, and Billie Pearce.
Services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel in Nacogdoches, TX with interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 o’clock at Cason Monk-Metcalf.
Serving as pallbearers: Chase Phillips, Trey Langston, Kyle Phillips, Luke Langston, James Torbert, and Billy Mac Mims.
