The sadness you leave behind Patti equals the friendship, laughter and love we shared. We will miss you my friend. We will miss your kindness. We will miss your laugh. We will miss hearing your southern drawl when you speak. We will miss your fried chicken. Most of all we will miss your warm hugs. We are heartbroken.

I work with Colton at the school. I saw the wonderful mother that Patti was, how much she cared for her children and others. She was always kind to me and thankful for my help. I am so deeply sorry to the family for their loss. She was truly a special lady.

The world has lost a true Lady. In the finest traditions of Texas.

Patti was truly a strong woman, she had no backup in her, but her loyalty to family and friends and her sense of humor was epic.

I met her and Lin at Great Lakes, we were out one night and I locked my keys in my brand new Jeep. Patti got a piece of string, took my back window out so we could get the keys and put it back. All in the parking lot of the Blue Suede Shoes. I'm still in awe of that one.

There are many many more of those. A friend of their's was family. She fed me more times than I care to admit. She had a knack for cooking when I dropped in. LOL.

I told Kelly I can still hear her telling Lin "Baby I lovvvvve you!" I absolutely believe that was her first act on getting to heaven.

She will be missed.
