Ms. Bentley was born March 13, 1967, in Lufkin, Texas. She had been a lifelong resident of Etoile and the surrounding area. Kathy worked as a home health care provider.
Her survivors include her son, Joshua Godsey of Nacogdoches, Texas; mother, Diane Athey of Etoile, Texas; step-father, J.B. Wheeler of Etoile, Texas; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Virginia O'Rand of Etoile, Texas, Michael and Sarah O'Rand of Long Beach, Mississippi, and David and Crystal Wheeler of Etoile, Texas.
Family memorial services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, Texas.
