Richard was born on October 24, 1960, in Houston, TX to Dorothy and Allen Dean Wilkerson. He was a loving father and son, proud of his two daughters and their many accomplishments. He graduated from Pearland High School in 1979; attended University of Texas, which he was very proud of. His favorite pastime was watching UT football games every Saturday, especially when they beat A&M or OU. After attending UT, he became a Pipeline Designer working on oil rigs and refineries. His passion though was woodworking; in his shop he would build anything from jewelry boxes to intricate picnic tables and cutting boards.
Richard is survived by his Daughters ~ Samantha Wilkerson, Alyssa Wilkerson; Brother ~ Robert Wilkerson; Niece ~ Wendy and Carlos Granados, Nephews ~ Sean-Dean and Logan Wilkerson; and many other family and friends whose lives he touched.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Allen Dean Wilkerson, as well as, his grandparents, Mae and John Thomas, and Annie Mae Coon and Delton Wilkerson.
