Richard Maurice Woodard, Jr. was born May 28, 1978 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Richard Maurice Woodard and Peggy Manchack Woodard. He passed away on February 20, 2021, in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Richard loved hunting and fishing. He was a skilled craftsman and welder, and enjoyed metal work and woodworking. Richard was a friend of the Gypsy Nacogdoches Chapter.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Marvin “Grady” Manchack and Marie Manchack, Rita Campbell and James Harkness.

Survivors include: parents, Richard and Peggy Woodard; children, Chloe Elise Woodard and Connor Ethan Woodard; mother of his children, Josie Harrison; sister, Traci Benge and husband Erick; special nieces and nephews, Anna Jolleen Benge, Allie Marie Benge, Jeremiah Landon Benge, Katelyn Grace Benge and Lillian Rose Benge; aunts and uncles, Jimmy and Pam Manchack, Helen Manchack, Jon and Dyan Langley; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, February 27, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the service starts at 11:00 AM, Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel. Interment will follow at Lazarine Cemetery.
