Rita Regina Beber

Rita Regina Beber, age 101, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Rita was born October 15, 1921 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Rita was a beautician. She owned her own salon in Norco, LA for many years before moving to Houston with her husband Carl. They retired in Houston. She later moved to Nacogdoches to be near her daughter, Rita. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crafting but most of all she loved her family. They were very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with each of them. Rita was a member of Nacogdoches Newcomers. Survivors include: sons, Charles Carl Beber and wife Linda of Hot Springs, AR, Frank Alfred Beber and wife Sharon of Biloxi, MS; many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband of 56 years, Carl Charles Beber; mother, Hazel Owings; brother, Billy Ray; sister, Janie Novak; daughter, Marguerite Jackson; daughter, Rita Lorio. A visitation for Rita will be held Friday, January 20, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, 5400 North St, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
