Robert "Tony" Anthony Mills of Liberty, formerly of Nacogdoches, passed away February 10, 2020, in Houston at the age of 38. He was born December 13, 1981, in Dallas to parents David Mills and Martha Lourdes (Cantu) Mills.

Tony was the owner and project manager for RAM Underground Construction, which specializes in underground utilities maintenance and construction. He worked in his field for over 15 years. Tony loved the industry and excelled at the work he performed there.

Tony was his own man and lived life to the fullest. He was daring, exciting, intelligent, and when no one was looking, he was very loving. In the field of underground utilities, those who could perform his quality of work were rare. He completed shots that were believed to be impossible and that no other companies would even attempt. Tony was the first person to ever install underground utilities in a major pipeline highway area without making any hits or mistakes. He loved his job, and he was amazing at it.

Tony loved the outdoors. He loved to go hiking, camping, and fishing. Tony enjoyed working out and any activity that involved sports. He absolutely love music. He was adventurous to the point of being downright dangerous sometimes. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. Tony had a great love for animals. He has an American Bully/Red Nosed Pit named Dozer and had recently got a Pit Bull puppy named Zeus. He loved going to the beach. The ocean environment is where he said he felt the most relaxed, as well as the one place he could enjoy all of the things he liked to do most all at the same time.

Mr. Mills was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, David Lemuel Mills and Dorothy Mae Mills; and maternal grandparents, Rodolpho Cantu Flores and Antonia Tovar Cantu.

He is survived by his wife, Samantha Sonnier; parents, David Lemuel Mills, Jr. and Martha Lourdes Mills; children, Luke David Mills and Claudia Mae Mills of Liberty, Kayden Mills and Alayna Mills of Missouri, and Nolan Walters of Dallas; sisters, Erica Mills Wolfe and Amanda Mills; and nieces and nephews, Alyssa Wolfe, Christopher Ainsworth, Katelyn Wolfe, Victoria Ainsworth, and Brayden Wolfe. Tony is also survived by a multitude of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
