Rona Faye (Beseler) Johnson

She attended Nacogdoches High School graduating in 1958. She attended Stephen F. Austin State University in 1962, majoring in secondary education. She walked across the stage receiving her degree while pregnant with her first child. Rona was the wife of a pastor, a great mother, and grandmother. Devoting her life to ministry and the raising of her children. She lived in Tyler, Texas for most of her adult life.

She is preceded in death by her husband Elzie Johnson of 52 years and parents, Bieto Beseler and Faye (Sarner) Beseler.

She is survived by: daughter, Jennifer Stephenson and husband Todd; son, Robert Johnson; grandchildren, Lindsey, Ashley, Anna, Brennen, Abigail, Raechel and Hannah Alexander and husband Dakota; great-grandson, Kasen. She also has her very special childhood friends, Roseann Pool, Frances Ann Ferguson, Jimmy and Peggy Partin, and her dear friend Raenell Craft.

A visitation for Rona will be held Monday, August 23, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, 5400 North St, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965, followed by a funeral service at 2:30 PM.
