

After high school, Shirley earned a degree in tax accounting. She was a homemaker, housewife, and tax accountant. She also did automotive upholstery work and loved antiques and resale shopping.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dean Lee Ady Sr.; her children, Terry Ady Sr. and wife Joyce, Tony Ady Sr. and wife Tresa, Christine Griffith and husband Gregg, Dean Ady Jr. and wife Lisa, and Tracy Najvar and husband Gerald. Her siblings; Ronnie Robin, Lonnie Robin, Kenny Robin, Gary Robin, Connie Pattison. 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Ross Robin; her mother, Viola Fay Robin (Fairbee); her sisters, Elizabeth Marie Robin (Stein), Barbara Jean Robin, and Linda Kay Robin (Miller); her brothers, Donnie Lee Robin and Roger Lee Robin; and her grandsons, Tony Ady Jr. and Jimmy Dean.
Shirley had many hobbies and interests, including quilting, sewing, cooking—especially her Christmas cookies and fudge—yard work, antiques, and resale. Above all, she loved keeping up with and caring for her entire family.
Visitation will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 4922 FM 2864, Nacogdoches, TX 75965, US, on May 16, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 4922 FM 2864, Nacogdoches, TX 75965, US, on May 16, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
