Terry was born Sept. 2, 1956, in Nacogdoches County and had been a lifelong area resident. He was self-employed as a construction contractor.
Terry Stanaland was an amazing and outstanding husband, an outstanding father, and a true friend of many. “Daddy we love you now and forever.”
His survivors include his wife Tammy Stanaland of Nacogdoches County, Texas; a son and daughter-in-law, Steven Wayne and Heather Stanaland of Wiesbaden, Germany; a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Daphne Stanaland of Nacogdoches; sisters, Elizabeth Stanaland and Melinda Stanaland, both of Nacogdoches; sisters-in-law and their husbands, Mona and Michael Bowlin of Center and Debbie and Marvin Jordan of Tenaha; brother-in-law, Marvin Biggar of Center; father-in-law, Joe Biggar of Center; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Sue Stanaland.
Services are set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with Bro. Alvin Stanaland and Bro. Vernis Stanaland officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery, located off Hwy. 59.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers: Toby Stanaland, J.T. Mervin, Eric Perry, Marvin Jordan, Toadie Duckett, Stanley Jones, Richard Tomlin, and Donald Vardeman.
