Thelma Jean Dudley

She was born October 25, 1925, in Nacogdoches County, Texas. Mrs. Dudley was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Dudley was a homemaker and worked beside her husband for many years with the family farm. She was a longtime member of Little's Chapel Baptist Church.

Her survivors include a son, Donnie Dudley of Chireno, Texas; sisters, June Whitton and Linda Lowery; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Dudley, in 2001; along with a son, Lonnie Dudley, in 2009; daughters, Lisa Lewis in 1993, and Cathy Stotts, in 2010; a brother, Herman Pete Murray; and sisters, Alva Mae Thomas and Betty Heightman..

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 21, 2015, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Little's Chapel Baptist Church, located on County Road 434 off Hwy. 21 near Chireno, Texas. Services will follow at 10:00 a.m. and interment will be at the Little's Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Bill Dudley, Glenn Dudley, Hunter Murray, River Murray, Jacob Yeley, and Jason Yeley.
