

Tom graduated in 1991 from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown. Tom was a hard worker and dedicated employee. He worked for Branch Patton which later became Cingular Wireless, then AT&T. He was a larger than life fixture around there for nearly twenty years. With a loyal following of customers.
He was adventurous. He liked to travel and have new experiences even if it was only day trips which is about all he had time for. He also enjoyed trying new foods, watching cooking shows, and spending time with those he loved. Especially playing with his cat “MEOW”. Other hobbies included watching movies, music, technology, electronics, and board games. He was always wanting to learn, and became to the king of the internet search.
Tom was an artist who loved being creative. He liked architecture, design and writing poetry. Above all, his first love being on the water. He would snorkel, swim, and fish and boating.
He was competitive in the games he loved which included disc golf, chess, pool, and video games.
Tom was preceded in death by his grandmother, Juanita Deshazo Duke; grandfather, Lonnie Duke; great-grandparents, Jesse and Era Deshazo and Oberia Timmons; uncle, Bill Haney; honorary granny, Lonise Haney; and cousin, Bryan Haney.
Those left to cherish his memory include mother Billie Duke Mix; aunts Judy Sanders, and Wanda Haney; brother, Luke Jordan; cousins, John Sanders, Mark Sanders, Keith Haney, and Jeff Haney; honorary moms, Denise Lee and Frances Ward; longtime friend, Kenton Morton; honorary father, Joseph Meziere and many more extended family and friends.
