Zelda Wolfson

She was born November 7, 1941, daughter of Cantor and Mrs. Arthur M. Wilfson.

Born in Philadelphia, Pa., she grew up in the borough of Queens, New York City, moving from New York City to Nacogdoches in 1992.

Ms. Wolfson graduated from Jamaica High School, Queens, N.Y., and attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, N.J.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley Watterston of Nacogodches; and brother, Howard "Woody Wolfson of Tyler, Texas; nieces, Wendy Barnhill and Shari Ellsworth and husband, Shannon Ellsworth; grand-nephew, Jacob Barnhill ; and grand-nieces, Hannah Barnhill, Shana Ellsworth and Shae Ellsworth.

A memorial service is planned for 10 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2012, at Stallings Court, Nacogdoches. Donations can be made to Movement Disorder Foundation c/o Dr. George Plotkin, 700 Olympic Plaza, Suite 904, Tyler, Texas 75701.
