Bobby Maglione, 78, passed away peacefully at his home on August 4, surrounded by his family. Bobby was born on February 23, 1948, in The Bronx, New York, to his late parents, Dominic and Julia Maglione (née Campanelle).
Bobby was a longtime resident of Naples who loved fishing and, above all, his family. He grew up in The Bronx and raised his family on Long Island, New York. Bobby was a proud member and delegate of Local 29 in New York City, where he worked with explosives, including the blasting of the foundation for the World Trade Center in 1968.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lucy (Barbieri); their two children, Dominic Maglione and his wife, Nicole (Perrotti), of Honesdale, Pennsylvania, and Robin Azzopardi and her husband, Dave, of Naples, Florida. He was the proud grandfather of Dominic Jr., Julia, Maria, Georgianna, and Sarah. He is also survived by his brother, Don Maglione Jr., and his wife, Linda, of Hallandale, Florida. Bobby also loved and cherished his many nieces and nephews, neighbors, and friends.
Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108, on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 9:30 -11:30 AM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108, on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 12:00 PM.
Entombment will follow at Naples Memorial Park and Cremation Gardens.
