Brian Stuart Turner

September 25, 1967November 3, 2019

Born September 25th, 1967 and passed away unexpectedly on November 3rd, 2019. Brian was born here in Naples and extremely proud of the long lineage of the Turner family in Naples.

Brian was preceded in death by his Maternal grandparents Max and Helen Bauer, Fraternal grandparents Archie and Iva Mae “Bud” Turner. His father, Thomas Allen “Tommy” Turner.

Brian is survived by his mother, Diana “Pixie” Kirkland (Richard), brother Andrew Scott Turner and daughter, Sommer Skye Born. He has many remaining Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

Brian was full of life and fun loving until his stroke in July 2009 that nearly cost him his life. He struggled to come back from that stroke, learning to talk and walk again. He made partial recovery and unfortunately made some poor life choices along the way. He had a great big heart and people tended to take advantage of his belief in people being good and consequently was used often badly by those people.

Memorial service will be held at Parkway Life Church, 5975 Golden Gate Pkwy; Naples, FL 34116 at 10:30 AM on November 16th, 2019. Interment will be privately held.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making donation to Parkway Life Church in his memory or to a charity of your choice.

We are saddened by the sudden passing of Brian. Only getting to know Brian recently and visiting him in the hospital, I truly enjoyed our chats. He loved his family, friends, shared many great memories about growing up in Naples all his life and especially enjoyed our conversation as he shared memories of growing up in a Christian and loving family. There is no question he carried a true and sincere love for his family and his faith. Our hearts are saddened for the rest of the family and will continue to uphold them in our prayers.
