Eduardo “Ed” J. Falcone, 59, passed away on May 19, 2026, in the Cherokee National Forest of Tennessee while doing something he loved—riding alongside friends and enjoying the freedom of the open road.
Ed was born on January 2, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois, to Vincenzo V. Falcone and Maria E. Falcone. He attended Carmel High School in Mundelein, Illinois, earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Marquette University, and married the love of his life, Sara I. Falcone, on December 30, 1989, in Caguas, Puerto Rico.
A lifelong entrepreneur, Ed learned the value of hard work alongside his father and uncles in Jade Construction before building a successful career in Southwest Florida as a restaurateur, real estate and mortgage broker, businessman, and automotive professional. His final professional chapter was with Germain Lincoln of Naples, where he found tremendous fulfillment and leaves behind a work family that loved and respected him.
More than his accomplishments, Ed will be remembered for the way he lived. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, mentor, and friend. Family was the center of his world. He never missed a holiday, loved hosting gatherings, and was famous for his Thanksgiving turkey. He loved God with all his heart and carried the joy of the Lord everywhere he went. In recent months, after helping his father peacefully navigate a brain cancer diagnosis and passing just 43 days before his own, Ed often shared that he was in the best place spiritually he had ever been.
Known by many as having the personality of a Labrador Retriever, Ed never met a stranger—only friends he hadn't made yet. Whether riding motorcycles, playing golf, cheering for Chicago sports, playing poker or Truco, or simply spending time with those he loved, he brought energy, laughter, and warmth wherever he went.
Ed was an avid motorcyclist who loved riding Florida's coastline with Sara and traveling throughout North America with his brothers from the San Churrasco Motorcycle and Fellowship Group. Among his proudest accomplishments was raising his son, Ryan, encouraging him to dream boldly, pursue entrepreneurship, and build a life filled with purpose.
Ed was preceded in death by his beloved son, Matthew Falcone, who passed away 24 years earlier, and his father, Vincenzo V. Falcone, who passed away just 43 days before him.
He is survived by his devoted wife of more than 36 years, Sara I. Falcone; his son, Ryan Falcone; his mother, Maria E. Falcone; his sister, Amy Falcone; and countless relatives, friends, coworkers, and loved ones whose lives were forever enriched by his presence.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Avenue North, Naples, Florida 34108, officiated by Deacon Roberto Landron.
Prior to the visitation, members of the San Churrasco Motorcycle and Fellowship Group, along with Ed's closest riding companions, will gather for a final tribute ride in honor of their fallen brother. The riders will arrive together at approximately 4:45 PM for what they have lovingly called Ed's "Last Ride," a final journey celebrating the friendship, faith, freedom, and countless miles shared together on the open road.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the San Churrasco riders, Tennessee Highway Patrol—especially Trooper Roddy—Blount County first responders, Rocio Navarrete and the family of Mariano Maldonado, the Glowtique family, and the Germain Lincoln of Naples family for their compassion, support, and friendship during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ivy Brain Tumor Center at Barrow Neurological Institute in honor of Ed, his father Vincenzo, and his aunt, all of whom battled brain tumors: https://giveto.supportbarrow.org/ivybraintumorcenter

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." — John 3:16
Though his absence leaves an immeasurable void, Ed's legacy lives on through the faith he carried, the traditions he created, and the love he poured into his family and friends every day.
