He was born on November 11, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois the only child of Ethel H. and Donald W. Ibele. He graduated from Bridge Grade School, Steinmetz High School, Wright Jr. College (A.A.), DePaul University (B.A. M.S.), and Pacific Western University (Ph.D.).
He served in the U.S. Air Force, Strategic Air Command, 8th Air Force, 207th Bombardment Wing Operational Intelligence Group from 1955 to 1963.
Beginning at age 10 he worked at any job for which he was qualified and enjoyed and continued so throughout his life, always believing that charity was only for those who could not do the same.
He leaves his wife Gloria Jean Ibele, daughter Karen Elizabeth Skare, and step-daughter Kathy Ann Farina. Your love and unconditional support was appreciated.
Cremation arrangement are entrusted to Hodges Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Naples Memorial Park and Cremation Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108 with military honors.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Avow Hospice.
