I'm just finding out about Jordan's passing now, in October of 2023.  Jordan and I enjoyed playing sports together in Marquette Park, Chicago.  We watched Notre Dame football and NFL football together at his home in Chicago.  He was the best athlete in our area.  He taught me how to play the game of chess.  My sincere condolences to his family.  He was a great guy, and dear friend.

Dear Muriel, Adrienne and Vincent,
I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Jor.  I'm so very sorry you lost your husband and father.
I'm , however, happy for all of you that you got to live your dream of living in Naples, FL.
I didn't move and just ran out of time to move as Don was so sick for so long.
I'm sure Florida was on his bucket list.
Thank you so much for being great hosts when we visited your new townhome in Florida.

Thank you for everything you've done for me. I miss you everyday. Waking up in the morning and not walking out to Married with Children playing and seeing my breakfast on the table is so out of place, I can't explain it. Not seeing you in the den watching TV when I get home from school, you not taking me to my appointments, or even knowing that if I missed my bus I could rely on you to be up and happy to take me. None of it seems right, because it's not. Everything you did doesn't go unnoticed. I'm Sorry I didn't thank you enough so thank you, thank you, and thank you.

Words cannot even begin to express how much I love and miss you. You loved us like no other. Thank you, for being the most selfless man I know. Thank you for stepping up for my children, and raising Christopher as your own, while I was sick.  Thank you for ALWAYS putting your family first. Thank you for loving my Mom. Thank you for taking such good care of me and my brother. Even as an adult, you did.  I remember when we were at the dentist, and you told the staff to do whatever needed to be done to make sure your daughter was ok. Thanks for loving me that much. Thanks for never ever giving up on me, and being my biggest fan.  I am so grateful you got to see me clean, and turn my life around. I don't know how to live without you Dad.
