Ruffy was born on March 6, 1947, in Olean, NY to Albina and Ralph “Ruffy Sr”. He is survived by his wife Benita, his daughter, Amy Rogers (Brian Zimmermann) His son, Steven Rogers (Jennette Gluski) and his granddaughter Sophia Grace Rogers. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas and Nicholas Rogers.
He was a proud Army Veteran. Ruffy was a successful home builder in Rochester, NY before retiring to Naples. HIs building and creating didn’t stop with construction, he built an aviary for his exotic ducks that he raised and later built custom fishing poles. He enjoyed hunting in the woods of Allegany, NY and vacationing with his family all along Lake Ontario on his boat. He had a passion for fishing and would talk for hours about his next big catch. The light of his life was his granddaughter Sophia Grace who would always put a smile on his face.
His sense of humor, his love for his family and friends will be missed by all that knew him.
