

Bob was born in Joliet, Illinois, and moved to St Louis in 1980. In 1995, he married the love of his life, Linda. Together; they built a life filled with love, family, friendship, travel, and wonderful memories.
Bob will be remembered for his loving personality, quick wit, trivia questions, and funny sayings, including his memorable ''yadni pescudney." He had a way of making people smile and was loved by the many friends he and Linda made throughout their years together in St. Louis, Estero, and Naples, Florida.
Bob and Linda made their home in Ballwin, Missouri, where Bob worked for Guardian Life Insurance as a disability specialist. He retired in 2002.
In 2004, Bob and Linda moved to the Lake of the Ozarks with Linda's son, Ryan. They enjoyed their life at the lake until 2014, when Bob and Linda moved to Florida to begin another wonderful chapter of their lives together.
Bob loved traveling with Linda and especially enjoyed the many cruises they took together, visiting destinations around the world. Although he was born near Chicago, Bob became a devoted St. Louis sports fan, proudly cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and St Louis Blues.
Bob was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, brother, family member, and friend. Above all, he treasured his life with Linda and the people he loved. His warmth, humor, curiosity, and ability to make people laugh will be deeply missed.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; his sons, Larry and Gary Hirsch; his daughter; Katie (John) Hartwig of St. Louis, Missouri; and his sister, Rita (James) Kubalewski of Joliet, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie and Alfred Hirsch; his brother; James (Jean) Hirsch; his sister, Sr. Jacqueline Hirsch, OSF; and his stepsons, Christopher and Ryan Tisone.
A Memorial and Celebration of Life Mass will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
Bob will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. His memory will remain forever in the hearts of his family and friends, and in all those whose lives he touched with his love, laughter, and unforgettable sense of humor.
