

Roberto was born on September 16th, 1939, in St Augustine, OTE, Cuba, to Evelio and Concepcion Rodriguez. He married the love of his life, Rosario Concepcion Rodriguez, on May 18th, 1968, in Brooklyn, New York.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Roberto was a man of hard work and deep faith. He proudly owned and operated Bennett’s Grocery beginning in 1974, later expanding into the restaurant and gas station business. Roberto also served his country honorably as a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosario Concepcion Rodriguez; his children and their spouses, Rebeca and Len Zaiser, Raquel and Rodrigo Rinaldi, and Robert and Alejandra Rodriguez; his sisters, Raisa Soriero and Rosy Rodriguez; his cherished grandchildren, Lennie and Lilly Zaiser, Christian and Victoria Rinaldi, and Roberto, Adriana, and Daniela Rodriguez; and so many others that he loved.
He will be remembered with deep love for so many things, his devotion to family, his joy in “la tienda” and the farm, his love of boating and fishing, his late night poker and domino games, his beers, sweets, café con leche, and above all, his excitement for life his willingness to have fun, and his trademark reminder to enjoy a Beautiful Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
