Ruthanne Reeser

Born June 22, 1934, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of Francis “Kacey” Gibbens and Helen Sanders Gibbens. Ruthanne grew up in Philadelphia before making Naples her home in 1982.

Ruthanne loved the beach, collecting shells and shell-crafting, playing bingo, and decorating for every holiday.

She is survived by her daughters Susan Furlow and Kacey Lanier (with husband Lynn Petkus), granddaughter Sydney Lanier, and her son Joseph Barry Reeser (with wife Linda Reeser). She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph T. Reeser.

A private family service will be held on August 22, 2026, at 10 am, at Naples Memorial Park and Cremation Gardens.
