Sharon May Wadsworth, 62, Naples, Florida, went to the Lord on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at NCH with her husband by her side. Sharon was born on February 15, 1957 in Barre, Vermont to the late Henry Lewis Wadsworth and Hazel Lorene Zuck.
Sharon lived most of her life in central Maine until her family relocated to sunny Naples, Florida in 2003. Here she embraced her love for the sun, beach, wild life, and Disney. Sharon’s faith and joy were contagious. Her compassion and empathy as a nurse were unsurpassed. She was a light that will greatly be missed in this world.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 41 years, George Oscar Crabtree, Jr; her daughter, Sara Wadsworth King; her son-in-law, Michael Emerson King; and her grandson, Theodore Fredrick King.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Lewis Wadsworth; mother, Hazel Laurrine Zuck; and brother, William Lewis Wadsworth.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, May 11, 2019 at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Garden. Visitation with light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will precede from 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm, May 11, 2019.
