Sharon was born on April 17, 1953 in Cleveland, OH to William and Barbara Lindblad.
Sharon received her BA from Hollins College in VA and moved to teach in Jacksonville, FL where she met her husband Gary in 1976. They were married July 2, 1977 and spent 44 wonderful years together. Sharon and Gary moved to Naples in 1980. She was a loving mother and taught preschool and elementary school for many years. Later, after receiving her Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology, Sharon helped thousands of children in the public school system with speech skills.
Sharon is survived by her beloved husband, Gary, her son Michael (Tami) Wilson, her daughter Erica Wilson, her parents William Lindblad and Barbara VanCuren, her sisters Cathy (Ed) Ketel and Anne (Dave) Quanbeck, and her brother Bob (Donna) Lindblad.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave. N, Naples, FL 34108.
