Steven Harry Wetter

Born on March 2, 1963, in Rutherford, New Jersey, he was the beloved son of Kathryn and Harry Wetter. He was the youngest of 3 siblings.

Steven attended New College of Florida in Sarasota, as well as the University Of Miami, School of Law. Steven was a Firefighter in Charlotte County before going to Lee County as a Firefighter and EMT. He was an Assistant State Attorney in Tampa before deciding to open his own legal practice in Lee County. He worked as a criminal defense attorney for 25 years surrounded by some of his greatest friends, colleagues, and people.

Steven loved a warm cup of coffee, a glass of wine, a beautifully planned vacation, his Triumph TR6, a quick weekend trip to Marathon, FL, and quality family time. He filled every room he was in with love, light, and humor.

Steven is survived by his wife, Kristian Wetter, his children, Jacob, Evan and Delaney, father-in-law Randy, son-in-law Tyler, daughter-in-law Tabitha, brother Michael Wetter, sister Kathy Hilt and his two Golden Retrievers, Juneau and Sitka.

Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Park and Cremation Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.

Burial will be private.
