

Catherine “Cat” Elizabeth Lautar, 21, of Liberty Center, Ohio passed away on January 25, 2015 as a result of injuries from an auto accident. Catherine was born on March 7, 1993 in Napoleon, Ohio to parents, Lisa (Stuckey) and Brian Lautar. She graduated with honors from Liberty Center High School and was in her senior year at Bowling Green State University, pursuing her goal of becoming a high school English teacher. Cat was a social butterfly, always surrounded by her friends. She enjoyed riding and horsemanship and worked every summer as a camp counselor in the horse program at Camp Libbey Girl Scout Camp. For the last year, she had worked at Jimmy Johns in Bowling Green, where she had many friends. Cat also enjoyed music, theatre, Medieval fairs, attending plays, and working as the student director of her high school musical during her senior year. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, and was also active at Shiloh Church where she enjoyed the youth group and Bible study group. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Catherine is survived by her parents, Lisa and Brian Lautar; brother Robert Lautar; sister, Alyson Lautar; aunts and uncles, Richard, Cheryl, and David (Pat) Stuckey, Diana (Scott) Bollinger, Brad (Colleen) Lautar, Tom (Marilyn) Bente, Charla (Mohammed) Elsamahi, and Teri (Jim) Walsh; and her dear friend, John Davis. Cat was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Bonny Stuckey, and Charles and Bonnie Lautar; infant brother, Anthony Lautar; and uncle, Chuckie Stuckey.
Visitation will be held from 2 pm to 8 pm on Sunday, February 1 at Walker Mortuary, 333 West Main Street, Napoleon, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Monday, February 2 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 221 E. Clinton St., Napoleon, OH with burial to follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
