

Elvera (Dickmander) Schuette, age 94, last of the West Hope Dickmanders, passed away November 28, 2012 at the Lutheran Home in Napoleon. Born September 1, 1918 to the late Dorthea (Youngman) and Frank Dickmander, on the family farm in Richfield Twp. Dearest wife of the late Paul D. Schuette, whom she married on June 8, 1947 at Peace Lutheran Church, where she had been the organist for twelve years.
She is survived by her sons, Marcus (Jolene) Schuette and Herbert (Kimberly) Schuette; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, William, Julius, Augusta, Martha, Rudolph, and Laura, all of which had lived on the Ohio family centennial farm.
Elvera loved playing the accordion and organ, sewing, and baking. She enjoyed being a homemaker, taking care of her family, husband and grandkids. One of her greatest passions was volunteering with her husband Paul at the Lutheran Home for over twenty years before they became residents. Elvera was a woman who lived her faith daily. through Proverbs 31.
Calling hours will be Friday, November 30, 2012 from 3-8PM at Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home, 830 N. Scott St, Napoleon. Funeral services will be Saturday, 10:00AM December 1, 2012 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1075 Glenwood Ave., Napoleon with a one hour prior visitation. Burial is private.
